10 Life-Changing Learnings After 3 Years of Building Personal Brands for Global Leaders and CEOs at Growth Korner 1️⃣ Authenticity Wins – The most successful personal brands don’t try to impress. They stay real, own their journey, and build trust. 2️⃣ Consistency Over Virality – One viral post won’t build authority. Showing up daily with value-driven insights does. 3️⃣ People Follow People, Not Companies – Even CEOs with billion-dollar companies need a strong personal voice to influence and connect. 4️⃣ The Best Content Comes from Experience – The highest engagement comes from sharing personal stories, lessons, and failures—not generic advice. 5️⃣ Positioning > Posting – If you aren’t known for something specific, you’ll be forgotten. Define your niche and own it. 6️⃣ Engagement = Influence – CEOs who reply, comment, and start conversations build stronger credibility than those who just post. 7️⃣ Vulnerability is a Strength – Talking about struggles makes leaders relatable. People trust those who share both wins and losses. 8️⃣ LinkedIn is a Goldmine – It’s not just a platform, it’s a stage. Those who consistently share insights get speaking gigs, deals, and global influence. 9️⃣ Your Network is Your Net Worth – The right connections multiply brand value. Engaging with the right audience matters more than chasing numbers. 🔟 Your Brand is Your Legacy – A strong personal brand isn’t just for today. It shapes how you’ll be remembered years from now. Over the last 4 years, I've helped 150+ founders build profitable, influential & money-making brands on LinkedIn — in just 3 months! I know what you're thinking - "Sakshi, that's great, but I'm stuck. How do I do this?" Don't worry; I've got you covered. Here are 9 steps to build your LinkedIn personal brand in 90 days or less: 1/ Prove yourself through a killer headline: Don’t just say "Founder." Make your headline a mini-pitch that highlights what you do and who you help. Think: "I help professionals climb the career ladder through data-driven executive training in 70 days." 2/ Show your story through an irresistible About section: Talk directly to your audience. Share your journey, your mission, and how you can help them. Make it personal, not a boring resume summary. 3/ Post with a reason: Every post should have a goal—whether it’s sharing a lesson, inspiring your audience, or starting a conversation. Make sure it aligns with your overall brand. 4/ Get personal, get real: People love vulnerability. Share your failures and what you’ve learned along the way. It’ll make you more relatable and human. 5/ Engage as much as you can: Instead of just scrolling through your feed, spend 20 minutes daily leaving thoughtful comments. This builds stronger relationships than just likes and reactions. 6/ Show your face: Use photos and videos of yourself. A simple selfie with a quick story or insight can do wonders in making your brand more approachable. 7/ Build mini-content series: Break down complex topics into bite-sized posts that flow over a week. For example, "5 days of career tips for new professionals." This keeps people coming back for more. 8/ DM with value: Don’t just cold-pitch people. When you connect with someone, send them a personalised message with a genuine compliment or offer something useful. If it’s a pitch, try being direct in the 1st message itself. 9/ Track your progress: Use LinkedIn analytics and tools like Shield to monitor your post engagement and profile views. Adjust your strategy based on what resonates most with your audience. Now, here's something interesting: According to LinkedIn, members who post weekly on the platform are 5 times more likely to be contacted for new opportunities. That's the power of consistent branding! Let me share a quick story that might inspire you: When I started on LinkedIn, I was nervous about posting. But I remembered I once read: “The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.” Alan Watts So, I took the plunge. My first post got only 3 likes, but I kept going. Six months later, I had my first viral post with over 1000 likes. That's when I realised - content isn’t the power, consistency is! Building a personal brand takes time and effort, but it's worth it. So, which of these steps will you start with today? #linkedinstrategy #personalbranding #entrepreneurtips #indianstartups

5 Mistakes I Made in my branding journey (and How to Dodge Them) Looking back on my personal branding journey, one super important thing that I learned is: 📢That goof-ups are just as important as high-fives. ✅Admitting mistakes is as important as cheering for successes. Here's a scoop on where I went wrong, helping me understand the road to successful personal branding. These are those 5 mistakes you must absolutely steer clear of: 1️⃣Lack of Clear Goals: Without clear, measurable goals, my personal branding efforts lacked direction. Establishing specific objectives helped in crafting a strategy that aligned with the overarching vision for my personal brand. 2️⃣Neglecting the Power of Networking: Building a personal brand goes beyond individual efforts. I initially underestimated the power of networking within my industry, missing out on valuable collaborations and opportunities 3️⃣Ignoring Analytics: Analytics provide valuable insights into what works and what doesn't. Initially, I failed to leverage the power of analytics. Overlooking data-driven insights led to a lack of understanding regarding what resonated with my audience and what needed improvement. This resulted in missed opportunities. 4️⃣Skipping Personal Brand Updates: As you evolve, so should your personal brand. Skipping regular updates may lead to an outdated online image that doesn't reflect your current achievements and aspirations. 5️⃣Ignoring Consistency: Inconsistency in your online presence can dilute your personal brand. I was not consistent in the beginning. Still am. It's a work in progress 🙈 So there you have it – a roadmap of mistakes to avoid on your personal branding journey. Remember : Your oops moments and mistakes, in their own quiet way add depth, character and authenticity to your story that's unfolding every minute, every day. Here's to learning, growing, and crafting a personal brand that truly reflects the authentic and incredible you. Cheers to the journey ahead🥂 Follow Aaina Chopra✨ for more insights! #personalbranding #analytics #contentstrategy #storytelling #creativity

I've been working with 20+ founders & coaches, and it's shocking to see how many still make these fundamental mistakes that can destroy their marketing efforts and brand reputation. Trust me when I say this - avoiding these mistakes can be the difference between a thriving business and one that struggles to gain traction in the market. After years of experience in this field, I've identified 7 deadly sins in marketing and branding that you absolutely must avoid: 1. Inconsistent brand messaging across platforms. When your tone, voice, and values differ on different channels, you confuse your audience and lose credibility instantly. 2. Copying competitors blindly without understanding your unique value proposition. Your audience can spot inauthenticity from miles away, and it damages your brand's reputation. 3. Neglecting data-driven decisions and relying purely on gut feeling. I've seen countless campaigns fail because brands didn't analyze their metrics or understand their audience's behavior. 4. Overlooking the importance of customer feedback and reviews. Your customers are your best teachers - ignoring their input is like throwing money down the drain. 5. Running random campaigns without a solid strategy. Posting content or running ads without clear objectives and KPIs is the fastest way to waste your marketing budget. 6. Focusing on vanity metrics instead of conversion rates. Getting thousands of likes means nothing if they don't translate into actual business results. 7. Neglecting brand guidelines and visual consistency. When your brand looks different everywhere, it creates confusion and reduces trust among potential customers. I've witnessed businesses lose significant market share because they committed these mistakes repeatedly. The good news is, these are all preventable with the right approach and strategy. The key is to stay focused on building a strong foundation first. Start with clear brand guidelines, understand your audience deeply, and create a solid strategy before execution. P.S. If you're struggling with any of these aspects in your business, let's connect. I help founders and coaches build strong marketing foundations that drive real results.

7 sins you shouldn't commit if you want to build an exceptional personal brand, build a digital network or leverage it for building your business: 1) Send promotional messages as soon as someone accepts your connection request. If someone does that to me, I remove them from my list! 2) Leave AI-generated or single-word comments on people's posts. In situations like these, no comment is better than those comments. 3) Comment and interact with someone's posts and then send a promotional message without deeply understanding what they do. I got a promotional message for LinkedIn account growth from someone with 2 months of experience :) 4) Spam someone's post/feed with your promotional content. You should promote your brand, business, art, work, etc but not on other people's without them specifically asking for it. 5) Ignore comments and DMs. This is my biggest pet peeve. I get triggered seeing unanswered messages and DMs on any account. You must reply to as many(if not all) comments and DMs. You're leaving out a ton of opportunity for the long run. 6) Focus too much on vanity metrics viz likes, comments, followers, etc. Let's get this straight - Engagement doesn't mean a thing. I've got business from people following me on social media but never interacted with my posts. 7) Trying to be someone you're not! You need to have authenticity in your posts, comments, interactions, etc. If you're not being you, people will catch up eventually and won't trust you. So be YOU! Visibility is not the same as impact. You can post every day, gain thousands of followers, and still not be seen as a leader in your industry. So, the real question isn’t: “Are people seeing you?” It’s: “Are the right people recognizing your expertise and influence?” Many CXOs and founders struggle with personal branding because their efforts focus on being visible instead of being impactful. They post content, engage in discussions, and build connections—but their voice still doesn’t carry weight where it matters. Without a strategic approach: 🚫 Your insights get lost in the noise of social media. 🚫 Your audience sees content, but they don’t see you as a thought leader. 🚫 High-quality opportunities—partnerships, speaking engagements, investor interest—go to someone else. Visibility alone won’t build trust or influence. You need to be known for something that matters. The key shift? Move from posting for attention to positioning for authority. ✅ Be intentional about the topics you own. ✅ Share unique perspectives, not just recycled opinions. ✅ Focus on depth over frequency—thought leaders spark conversations, not just engagement. When you become synonymous with insight in your industry, visibility follows naturally. Imagine logging into LinkedIn and seeing: ✅ Decision-makers engaging with your content because it challenges their thinking. ✅ Inbound opportunities from investors, partners, and media who already trust your expertise. ✅ A personal brand that works for you—building influence while you focus on what you do best. Because when you’re truly impactful, people don’t just follow—you become the voice they turn to. What’s one thing you want to be known for in your industry? Drop it in the comments! #personalbranding #thoughtleadership

“Just be yourself” is exactly what we get wrong about authenticity.   It sounds simple, even inspiring, but it’s often the worst advice you can give.   “Yourself” is not fixed. It’s shaped by your experiences, habits, your environment, and the roles you play. Telling someone to just be themselves assumes they already know exactly who that is and that it will be enough in every context. Both are rarely true.   True authenticity isn’t about revealing a pre-packaged self. It’s about actively experimenting with who you want to become.   Herminia Ibarra of London Business School calls this “outsight” - seeking feedback, stretching beyond comfort zones, trying on new behaviors, and reflecting on what resonates.   I simply say: “Today, I’m not yet who I want to become tomorrow.”   This also serves another purpose. “Just be yourself” often translates into “that’s who I am.” And this is a very risky phrase. It’s not about not loving and respecting yourself, but when we say “that’s who I am” more often than not is an excuse to remain stagnant rather than a desire to grow and evolve.   Being authentic means:   - Showing up consistently with your values, not just your habits. And for those of you who know my thinking probably know how I’m against of habits and in favor of rituals. But that’s another post. - Adapting your style to the context without compromising your core. - Choosing actions that reflect the professional and person you want to grow into.   Authenticity is a practice, not a state of being. It’s about evolving while staying true to the principles that define you.   Next time someone tells you to “just be yourself,” think twice.

Most professionals give up on personal branding because they're doing the right things in the wrong order. Posting daily before finding clarity in their messaging. Chasing Authority before they've earned Credibility. Building on quicksand and wondering why their brands never compound. Here's what I've learned coaching senior professionals across industries: A personal brand isn't built in a viral moment. It's built in stages. And skipping one doesn't accelerate the journey. It derails it. Stage 1 – Obscurity: ↳ You possess enormous value, but the market doesn't know it yet. ↳ No inbound opportunities. No leverage. No market signal. Stage 2 – Clarity: ↳ You stop trying to be all things to all people. ↳ You craft a razor-sharp personal branding statement and define your target audience (a niche within a niche). Stage 3 – Consistency: ↳ This is where most people quit. ↳ You show up week after week — A/B testing your messaging and pivot as required. Stage 4 – Credibility: ↳ Social proof starts doing the talking. ↳ Speaking invitations. Peer-reviewed publications. A market that trusts you because of high-quality thought leadership. Stage 5 – Authority: ↳ Your brand opens consulting opportunities, paid public speaking gigs and generates consistent organic leads. ↳ You set the price, and the client respects your value. The professionals who reach Stage 5 don't get there by accident. They get there because they mastered each stage before moving on to the next. I've seen brilliant people stall at Stage 3 — not because they lacked expertise, but because they never built the foundation that catalyses consistency. A stellar personal brand is a result of consistent, long-term effort — with deliberate sequencing of compounding actions. What else would you add? DM me if you feel your personal brand is moving slower than tectonic plates, or simply don't know where to start. #personalbranding #thoughtleadership #careertips

The game has changed. Personal branding in 2025 isn’t just about visibility—it’s about depth, trust, and sustainability. The old tactics of just showing up and posting consistently? Not enough. People crave authenticity, depth, and long-term impact. Here’s what’s shaping personal branding this year: 👉 AI Is Your Amplifier, Not Your Replacement With AI-powered content flooding social media, human connection is the differentiator. Thought leaders in 2025 use AI to enhance their ideas, not replace them. Personal branding is now about showcasing your unique insights, experiences, and perspectives—not just repackaging trends. 🔥 Winning move: Share personal stories, fresh insights, and bold opinions AI can’t replicate. 👉 Video & Voice Dominate—But Only if You’re Real Short-form videos and podcasts aren’t optional anymore. But here’s the shift: People don’t just want polished content; they want realness. Candid, unfiltered, and conversational content is outperforming scripted, overly produced content. 🔥 Winning move: Show up on video. Speak on industry panels. Start a podcast or regularly contribute to one. 👉 Niche Depth Beats General Influence The biggest personal brands in 2025 aren’t chasing vanity metrics. They are owning micro-niches and becoming irreplaceable voices in their fields. Broad generalists get drowned out; those who double down on a niche stand out. 🔥 Winning move: Find your niche, go deep, and be known for something specific. 👉 Trust Is the New Currency Trust is crucial in the era of deepfakes and AI-generated content. Personal brands must now focus on building credibility through consistent value, proof of expertise, and community engagement. 🔥 Winning move: Show your work. Share case studies, testimonials, and real-life experiences that demonstrate your expertise. 👉 Personal Branding Is a Business Model, Not Just an Identity In 2025, creators and professionals aren’t just building an audience—they are monetizing their expertise through courses, consulting, speaking, newsletters, and product collaborations. Your personal brand isn’t just a profile—it’s an ecosystem. 🔥 Winning move: Build assets—newsletters, digital products, courses, and community-driven memberships.
