The technology needs people and there are people who will need technology. This symbiotic relationship stimulates business growth. Those involved in the case have specific roles and use different tools to expedite their work. Eligible people receive the vehicles and mobile phones to ensure the timely delivery of orders and connectivity at all times. Accountants have their electronic gadgets to make computing easier and faster. At the RCMP, people have become familiar with the management of data using the software. But all of them share information to keep the firm wheel spinning.
Businesses need people who are reliable and have to maintain the integrity of business information with confidence. The risk of theft of information internally and sabotage are always present. Workers who are given the right of the working environment, training and the tools they need to do their jobs more easily become indispensable asset to any company or organization. Technology enables businesses to grow, but people make these technologies better.
I’m not trying to be racist or anything, but other major countries such as the USA, countries in Europe, England, China, Japan, India, Canada, even Mexico… they all have iphones and computers and stuff. Like, most regular people have that technology.
But in Africa, you always see these starving children and these tent-looking tents which are their houses…Of course, every country has those poor sports, but Africa is only made of the poor spots. I just don’t get it. Why is Africa behind?
Why are all the starving children in Africa, instead of, say England, or USA or Japan, or something?
I’m no liberal, but with Bush’s and Obamas increases of government power it is very possible. If Obama catered to terrorists why would he have withheld the Patriot Act? It’s not a paranoid delusion, it is quite apparent that the government keeps the people well behind on technology. They probably monitor the internet day in and day out too.
Curtis, I really do have pity on you in the fact that you seem to give too much trust in your federal government.
I work in technology and also ride horses, and I’ve noticed that the whole horse industry seems to be way behind in technology. If a barn even has a website, it’s usually uninformative and out of date, and online tack shops never seem to have as good basic customer service as non-horse shops (simple things like confirmation e-mails, ability to track your order, shipping based on how much it costs them to ship the item instead of based on the value of the item, etc.) Horse shows still make you mail in forms instead of entering online. My barn still uses photocopies of photocopies for boarding contracts (I actually re-typed the boarding agreement for them because it was so hard to read)
Do you guys notice the same thing? Why do you think horse people don’t use technology better?
I don’t think horse people are any busier than other people…
And it’s not the local tack shop’s orders I want to track- it’s the online tack stores.
We all know that we hate spending that $60 for a brand new video-game even if it is well worth it, but why don’t we spend a year playing the same video games, and position ourselves so that we are literally a year behind in the video game world, so everything is much lower in price. Instead of spending $60, we will spend $20-30 on the same game on sale. Have your friends do the same, still play online with same people, good to go?
am i the only one that thinks facebook, texting, and whatever else makes it even harder to trust a potential partner. you have heard the horror stories, your friend finds out her bf was emailing and skyping 3 other girls while they were together. the advancing in technology makes it nearly impossible to trust somebody completely. people can get away with anything now with a simple delete history option.it seems like nobody is truly faithful anymore. girls and guys facebook chat other people behind their partners backs. text messages can get deleted. does anyone else feel like this too that technology is the devil?

One is not amused by this, I am always keeping up with the latest in modern technology. Just this very afternoon One had a pac man arcade machine delivered to my castle, One also has 80 colour televisions(1 for each room!) and I hath a videotape player! and I also hath a commodore 64! never let it be said that I am not up to date!
Let’s face the facts here… Out of the last ten times you walked into a doctor’s office with an ailment, how many of those times did you walk out with a cure? I’m not talking about a ‘remedy’ to reduce your symptoms, but a proper full-on CURE for the problem that is causing the symptoms. I don’t know about where you live but here in Australia, 9/10 times they send you home with antibiotics (the only REAL advancement in medical science since the bone-saw) for every ailment from acne to the flu. What is that doing to our over-all well-being? And why is it that the giant medical industry seems to be doing everything tn their considerable power to impede the progress of those who genuinely strive toward advancements in human health and well-being? And at the same time, it boggles the mind what new developments are arising in the entertainment industry today. eg:You can buy an entire cyber-planet for the purpose of commercial development. What are our priorities as a species people?

They would keep their mouths closed? Does this make them cowards?
One stare from my eyes and they just slowly walk away?

Okay. im going to college in the fall, and i have been talking to some of my future classmates. Im a guy, and I met this really cute girl who i have a lot in common with. she only lives about half an hour away from me. i talk to her a lot on fb and aim, and text, but iv never met her in person and i want to meet her. then she tells me that im cute cause she looked at my pics on fb. so i asked her one day if she would like to meet up on the weekend. she said idk. so i said we keep texting each other and have no human contact. so i stopped talking/ texting to her. what should i do? should i ask her to meet again, and should i phrase the question in a way so that she cant say idk.
I have always been fascinated with computers and the technology behind it. From web design and computer programming, to how they operate, what they can do, computer networking and even the security behind it all (like internet protection, anti-virus, etc). So I am wanting to know what would be the best way to go about getting a Computer Technology “type” of degree and what kind. I like the whole Information Technology (IT) field, but I want to stay away from math and unneeded classes. Right now I am working on a Business Degree with an emphasis on Management Information System (MIS) but the degree has alot of courses required that I want nothing to do with for my career (like accounting, calculus, mathematics).
Any help from fellow Computer Technology people on what route I should take to getting a Computer Technology “type” of degree and how do I get it?
Thanks for the help!
