Getting started with Claude Code
All right, let's jump in and get your Claude Code set up. There are two main non-technical ways to access Claude Code. The first way, which is the ideal way to use it for this course, is using Claude Code Desktop, which now has a Claude Code tab that's built right into it. I'll show you how that works. Navigate over to Claude.com. You hover over the Download Desktop app, and this works whether you're on Windows or Mac OS, and you download it for whichever operating system you have. So for me, I'm gonna click Windows because I have Windows. You save that, install it. Once you have that installed, you just click get started and you link your Claude pro account. So I've signed in with Google, so I'll do that now. So once you're logged into the Claude code desktop app, you simply go over to the Claude code tab and this is where we'll get started.
