A common critique of the Claude Code desktop app or the Claude Code web browser version is that the interface is clunky and slow and it just takes a long time to do almost anything. So if you have a little bit of patience and you want to get a little technical, you can actually set up an instance of Claude Code in the command line interface of your computer. So if you're using Windows, that's in Windows PowerShell, and if you're using Mac, that's in Mac terminal. But the commands and the workflow are nearly identical on each platform. So I'm going to show you how to set this up so I can just go in and ask Claude code. I say give me step by step instructions for installing Claude code into Windows PowerShell.
